Songs of Praise presenter Aled Jones was in Morpeth today getting a taste of all things Northumbrian.
The star was in town filming during the 41st Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering
for a forthcoming show in the popular BBC Television series.
He met the Morpeth Gadgy, Alex Swailes, and sat at the kerbside to get a close-up view as the traditional parade took to the streets.
The Gathering, which runs throughout the weekend, got off to a great start on Friday and hundreds of people packed the Market Place on Saturday morning to watch the Border Cavalcade, representing Lord Greystock's return from the Battle of Otterburn.
