The Fron Choir will be singing its socks off.
Llangollen's Fron Male Voice Choir will be socking it to us in February, as part of a novelty campaign to help in the fight against cancer in Wales.
The choir, which reached No 1 in the Classical chart with their debut album, and appeared in the Free Press in their controversial naked calendar, is launching the Cancer Research Wales Silly Socks campaign this month.
Wales' very own cancerresearch charity is encouraging everyone in the Principality to don their silly socks for the day and pay £1 to Cancer Research Wales, or ask friends and family for sponsorship.
The charity is currently funding a £1million research project to try and prevent breast and prostate tumours spreading to other parts of the body.
Choir member Tom Clayton has particularly close links with the charity – his son, Aled, works as a scientist at the Cancer Research Wales laboratories in Cardiff.
Tom also volunteers at Cancer Research Wales events throughout North Wales, offering his services as a Welsh speaker and attending cheque presentation events.
