Prom on The Close at Clifton College is the finest open air musical concert in the South West, and has quickly established itself as the greatest party of the Bristol social calendar!
This year, we’re delighted to welcome back the internationally-acclaimed soprano Lesley Garrett, who wowed the audience in 2006 with her fantastic blend of popular and classical music.
Joining Lesley this year will be tenor Paul Austin Kelly, conductor Philip Ellis and the nationally-renowned Emerald Ensemble orchestra. The outstanding choir and musicians from Clifton College will also perform in this magical setting, against the spectacular backdrop of the College buildings. The RAF’s majestic and very moving Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will take place over the arena (subject to availability and suitable weather conditions) and, to round off this unforgettable evening, you’ll be treated to an amazing display of pyrotechnics.
