It seems Lesley Garrett has been nursing an injury after taking a tumble on the ski slopes.
The soprano was apparently struggling to keep pace with her teenage children on the piste when she fell and dislocated her thumb.
"They've got to be such good skiers," the 52-year-old told The Daily Express.
"They're 13 and 15 and we've been going skiing together for about eight or nine years. I try to keep up with them - it's a mistake because I can't do it as fast as them! So most of me was going down the mountain but my right thumb was left up the hill somewhere and it dislocated."
But Lesley, who was speaking at a warm-up event at the Royal Albert Hall ahead of the Henley Festival in July, is reportedly on the mend.
"I strapped it up and took painkillers," the Dancing On Ice star told the paper.
"My main worry is that I can't hold a champagne glass - but that's what the other hand's for!"
