Good on Stephen Bowman, a 26-year-old singer with the classical group Blake (they formed on Facebook), who has shunned Ferraris and Lamborghinis, the normal choice for celebrities, and has instead just taken delivery of a Farbio GTS sports car.
Farbio is a British marque based in Bath and the mid-engined GTS is the company's first model. It has pedigree, too: Chris Marsh, formerly of Marcos and Invicta, is the brains behind the project.
The car is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 developing 262bhp, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which drives it to 60mph in 4.8 seconds. It costs £59,925 in naturally aspirated form and £71,675 for the supercharged version; Farbio is taking orders now.
"I've been lucky enough to have some success with my singing career, and what better way to show it than with a British-made, British-owned beauty like this," says Bowman.
